Sri Rompicharla Bhattar Venkatramanacharyulu is a native of Andhra Pradesh (A.P.), India. He was born in Akulamannadu, Krishna District and comes from a family of Sri Vaikhanasa Temple Priests and Archakas. The family members of Sri Ramanacharyulu to this day manage the Kodanda Ramaswamy Temple in Akulamannadu with daily pujas and services.
Sri Acharyulu pursued training and study in the theory, practice, and methods of Hindu religious rituals and worship at the Vaikhanasa Vidyanilayam, Machilipatnam, Andhra Pradesh. During this period, he had the great honor and privilege of studying under his paternal uncle Sri Pardhasaradhi Bhattacharyulu, Asthana Pandit at Tirumala Tirupathi Devasthanam, who was honored by titles like “Sri Vaikhanasa Ratnakara” and was bestowed the title of “Vidwat Kavi Saarvabhowma” by the President of India.
Sri Acharyulu passed the Pravesha and Vara Examinations [conducted by the A.P. Government Religious Endowments Department] that qualify him to perform religious services in several areas: Vaikhanasa Agama Sastra; Vastu Sastra; Jyothish Sastra; Brahmotsava Karyakramas; Devalaya Prathishtapanam; Daivika Karyakramas (related to Gods); Manushika Karyakramas (related to humans like Namakaranam, Annahprasana, Sraadha Kriyaas) Gruhapravesam, Satyanarayanavratam, Homams etc..
Experience: He worked as chief priest at the DFW Hindu Temple Ekta Mandir, Irving TX from 2002 - 2022. Prior to that he worked at various temples in india from 1981 to 2001. Sri Ramancharyulu speaks fluent Telugu, Tamil, Marathi, Hindi and English.
